Geography

We want all pupils at St White’s Primary School to see themselves as geographers and to:

Develop a can-do attitude whilst harnessing their curiosity and wonder when exploring the world around them.

Be challenged and inspired by the diverse places, people, and environments they encounter, with a commitment and responsibility to enhancing and sustaining our planet.

Clearly communicate our findings through geographical enquiry.

Develop a deeper understanding of the interaction between both physical and human processes, celebrating the ways in which they have shaped our local area and the wider society.

Reflect on our wide range of geographical skills needed to conquer our field work studies.

Why does Geography matter? Hear it from David Attenborough.
Skylark had a visitor from Jason from the University of Gloucestershire. He talked to them about Catherine Drew and the works that are on display at the Dean Heritage Centre.
